At Bellview we have lots of opportunities for your children to receive Biblical teaching from birth thru sixth grade. Some of these include:
- FBI (Faith Bible Investigators) - Held during both morning worship service times, children from 4k-6th grade have the opportunity to participate in junior church where they participate in a worship service just like their parents are attending in "big church", but on their level. These services include singing, collecting offerings, and being taught a Bible lesson.
- Sunday Evening Children's Church - Held during the Sunday evening service, children in 4k thru 4th grade are able to attend children's church where they learn Bible lessons and how to apply scriptural teaching to their lives.
- Wedensday Missions Groups - During Wednesday prayer meeting for the adults, our children are able to learn about missions. Mission Friends is the class for our 4 and 5 year olds while our girls from 1st-6th grade attend Girls in Action and the Boys in grades 1-6 participate in Royal Ambassadors. These classes teach the children why supporting missionaries is important, how they can support our Southern Baptist Missionaries service through NAMB and IMB, as well as how they too can be on mission for Christ.
- Nursery and 2/3 Year Old Class - We offer a nursery and 2/3 year old class for pre-k children during all normal services on Sundays and Wednesdays. We love our children and start teaching them Biblical truths through songs, lessons, and crafts on their levels no matter how young they are.
- Children's Activities - We have activities for our children throughout the year to encourage the Biblical principle of being a part of a community of believers. These activities vary, but include events such as bicycle rides in our parking lot, Pancakes and Pajamas at Christmas, and a huge Community Easter Egg hunt each spring!
